#CultureFirst: Quentin Wallace

The #CultureFirst series is a chance to showcase the team here at Culture Amp. We asked everyone a few questions which will give you an opportunity to get to know each of us a bit better.

Quentin Wallace - Legal and Commercial

Our legal eagle, Quentin takes a fine-toothed comb approach to all our documents and practices. Being a lawyer wasn't enough for him though, so he recently went back to school to learn web development too.

Culture Amp: What can you do as a CAmper that you haven’t been able to do elsewhere? Quentin Wallace: Helping shape an exciting and rapidly growing business.

CA: Best day you’ve ever had at work?

QW: It's a tie. Soundcheck of Beck with The Flaming Lips as his backing band at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara. Or the whole Radiohead show at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Both were a divine intersection of work and passion.

CA: What do you geek out about outside from work?

QW: Sport, films and music.

CA: What did you want to be when you grew up?

QW: Successful.

CA: What is something about you not many people know.

QW: Law was not my first career. I started out in the music business organizing concerts in Southern California.

CA: What’s on your playlist this week?

QW: David Bowie, of course!

CA: Where would you go on an all expense paid trip tomorrow?

QW: African safari in South Sudan. I'm presuming all expenses includes security...

CA: What does workplace culture mean to you?

QW: Treating people with respect.

CA: Do you have any startup / culture idols?

QW: Mark Suster.

CA: What was the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

QW: Don't volunteer information.
