I’m one of those people that can be heard saying "Christmas is coming earlier every year". I might even get a bit grumpy about it on occasion.
Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas. I get to fly back home, spend time with my family and enjoy some weather (I’m from Perth, Australia - which is quite often 100ºF on Christmas day!).
So it might be a little strange for me to be suggesting a survey in early November.
But, no, despite my protests, experience has finally shown otherwise. Every year we get a rush of customers who’d like to survey before Christmas. This is for numerous reasons, but generally it’s because they want to hit the ground running in the New Year.
Makes sense, but if you want to survey before the holidays, it's important to start thinking and planning well before November hits.
In Australia, Christmas is also our summer holiday. So we find things go very quiet here indeed. However, as you’re probably well aware, things go quiet in North America and Europe too. Even countries that don’t have a Christmas tradition will tend to slow down towards the New Year.
So if you’ve had an idea to survey your employees, now is a great time to start thinking about it seriously. If you’re a Culture Amp customer, you can drop us a line and we can discuss what you need. If you’re not a customer, feel free to get in touch or learn more about our employee surveys.
On the other hand, if you’re running your own surveys you might be interested in our Academy for some tips and tricks on running surveys.
Happy (early) Holidays!
